Disney Cruise Line is an American cruise ship company owned by The Walt Disney Company and headquartered in Celebration, Florida. The business is run by President Tom McAlpin as part of the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts division.
It operates two ships, the Disney Magic and the Disney Wonder, along with Castaway Cay, a private island in the Bahamas designed as an exclusive port of call for Disney’s ships.
The Disney Magic began operation July 30, 1998. The Disney Wonder began operation August 15, 1999. The ships each contain 875 staterooms [1] and are virtually identical in their design, with a few variations in restaurants and entertainment venues. Both contain areas designed exclusively for various age groups, including toddlers, young children, teens, and adults.
They are the first in the industry to be designed and built from the keel up as family cruise liners, with the goal of accommodating parents and children. Unlike most ships of their type, they do not include casinos.
Unlike most ship’s horns, which have a single or two-tone sound, the horns on both Disney ships play a seven-note melody from When You Wish Upon a Star.

Model Anna Nicole Smith has just been pronounced dead. It has been a very sickening and sad year for the Smith family.
Anna Nicole Smith collapsed at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida and is reported to have died shortly after.
According to hotel officials, Smith was “unresponsive” and emergency responders performed CPR at the scene and a breathing apparatus was inserted in her throat. Anna was immediately transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood just after 2:00 PM EST.
Local streets were closed off to rush Smith to the hospital, three miles away. Paramedics were seen pumping her chest as she was taken from the hotel. The similarities between Anna and Marilyn Monroe just grew even closer. Marilyn was 36 when she died in 1962.

MySpace has teamed up with best-selling author Neil Strauss for a series of short videos based on Strauss’s dating guide, “The Rules of the Game,” in which various rules will be acted out by “Married With Children” actor David Faustino and “Parker Lewis Can’t Lose” star Corin Nemec.
Starting Wednesday and continuing through Valentine’s Day, eight three-minute videos will be aired weekly on MySpaceTV and Strauss’s MySpace profile.
“MySpaceTV has enabled me to not just tell people how it’s done with a book but to also show them with videos of real-life interactions,” said Strauss - best known for “The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pickup Artists,” - in a statement.
“After watching David Faustino get actual phone numbers with, for example, his identity concealed, his hands tied and his mouth duct-taped, no guy should ever have to fear approaching a woman under normal circumstances again.”
The videos will feature commentary from Strauss and MySpace users will be encouraged to submit their own videos. Both MySpace and Strauss’s publisher, HarperCollins, are owned by Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp.
“There’s no denying our users know what they’re doing when it comes to relationships but it never hurts to get tips from a pro, does it does it?” Jason Kirk, director of marketing and content for the social network, said in a statement.

The jury in U.S. District Court in Central Islip found the couple, Mahender Sabhnani, and his wife, Varsha, guilty on all 12 counts against them.
Mahender Sabhnani looked stunned as the verdict was read. Daughter Pooja started crying. Another daughter, Dakshina, collapsed backwards in her seat. Then Varsha Sabhnani, who had been crying with her head on her husband’s chest, got up and leaned over to help her daughter. At that point, Dakshina screamed, “Papa! Papa! Papa!” The judge immediately cleared the courtroom.
Varsha Sabhnani then mumbled the name of one of her daughters, although it wasn’t clear which one, then collapsed. Her other daughter, Tina, yelled, “We didn’t do anything to anybody. How could this happen to us?”
Varsha Sabhnani and her daughter, Dakshina, were both rushed to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore.
Each juror still has to be polled individually. Although they could change the verdict, the judge said, “As far as I’m concerned, the verdict has been ended. It’s done with.”

Giant rat which is five times the size of a normal rodent and is fearless of humans has been discovered by scientists.
Researchers believe the mammoth-sized rat is a new breed… but don’t worry, they are in Indonesia.
Slighty less worringly, they’ve also found a ‘tiny possum.’
“The giant rat is about five times the size of a typical city rat,” said Kristofer Helgen, a scientist with the Smithsonian Institution in Washington. “With no fear of humans, it apparently came into the camp several times during the trip.”
The possum was described as “one of the worlds smallest marsupials.”
